Logitech Cordless Bluetooth Vantage Headset and MediaBoard Pro Keyboard for PlayStation 3 launched

Logitech has come out with headset and keyboard designed especially for the Sony PlayStation 3 console called the Logitech Cordless Vantage Headset and the Logitech Cordless MediaBoard Pro Bluetooth Keyboard respectively. PS3 gamers will surely appreciate this combination as it offers them the freedom and reliability of Bluetooth technology.

The Logitech Cordless Vantage Headset allows gamers to chat wirelessly both in-game or during voice chat sessions.

This headset features native PS3 support, large-diameter audio drivers and advanced noise-filtering circuitry, providing gamers with premium audio and excellent sound playback.

The design of the Cordless Vantage Headset is just perfect and lightweight too, as it features an ambidextrous behind-the-head design. Moreover, with just a simple rotation of the headband and microphone, the ear piece can be worn on either the right or the left ear.

Logitech Introduces New G-Series Products

Logitech recently introduced their wave keyboard/mice and MX Air mouse and has now updated their famous G series of gaming peripherals with the launch of the G9 mouse and a new refresh of the G15 keyboard.


The G9 mouse features a wealth of customizable features, including two interchangeable grips: Wide-Load grip and Precision grip. The Wide-Load grip provides a fuller shape and soft-touch, satin feel while the Precision grip’s DryGrip technology and compact shape offers better fingertip control. The G9 also offers customized weight tuning and weight distribution. The weight-tuning system enables gamers to choose from among hundreds of weight settings by inserting up to four additional weights in the mouse’s weight tray, adding up to a maximum of 28 grams. In total, gamers can choose from eight additional weights. The spring-loaded weight cartridge fits in the bottom of the G9 mouse and can be easily opened, retuned and secured in moments.


The mouse also supports profiles which when used in conjunction with Logitech SetPoint software Version 5.0 allows the profiles to be saved on the mouse itself, as it sports onboard memory. The G9 also offers up to 3200 dpi response for faster more precise cursor movements, or down to as low as 200 dpi for games that require pixel-precise control. A full-speed USB connection delivers up to 1,000 reports per second for smooth tracking without cursor lag.


The Logitech G15 which has been refreshed now offers built-in support for popular games, including World of Warcraft, Battlefield 2142 and Quake Wars for use with the integrated LCD panel. The G15 keyboard also offers six on-the-fly programmable macro keys with three modes, for a total of 18 programmable keys per game or application. This means, for example, World of Warcraft players can program the G keys to access their spells more efficiently. The G15 keyboard activates game-specific settings when a programmed title is launched.

The Logitech G9 Laser Mouse (MSRP $99.99 U.S.) and the upgraded Logitech G15 Gaming Keyboard (MSRP $99.99 U.S.) are expected to be available in September.
